1) JANUARY 22........La Goulette or Summer at La goulette (in the u.s.a. with english subtitles....it's been available for years in europe)

here is some information about finding north african music for those who are not able to visit the region frequently.........i am in no way associated with any of these commercial ventures.........i am listing them solely to help whomever it may concern.
amazon.com now has a mp3 download service..........if you type in "La Fa Mi Productions" you will have about a thousand songs to choose from.
fassiphone.com has a new mp3 download service too.........you can also buy cds from them (the dvds have disappeared-january 2008)....their cassettes and a therefore a lot of their back catalogue is no longer available......the mp3 downloads are not available immediately as with amazon.......also they don't list the length of the tracks...........but it works.......they are in belgium...
aladin2000.com also sells cds and dvs from europe but their packing leaves much to be desired....no bubble wrap, foam pellets etc.......my cd cases arrived in pieces but, incredibly, the cds were unharmed, hamdullah.
of course, amazon.com has a number of cds available.....(there is a double cd of stati from an amazon seller for which i paid $6.49 u.s.)
in europe fnac.com and alapage.com have a better selection than amazon.fr
