does anyone out there have any recordings of the hadra of the oulad miliana (in morocco) played on the lira?
interesting that they don't even exist on google's radar
do they have an entirely different name in algeria, perhaps, where their founding sheikh is buried?

another company is providing north african cds for download at amazon.com.......type in "amd" and you'll get a choice of 82 cds (as well as 3 cds by a rock group called amd).......unfortunately a lot of them are compilations with brief excerpts less than two minutes long of many songs.....there are however some normal cds: try listening to the "hay delli" cd by bnat acharque or the cd by khalid el awni..........some great numbers.....
